Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and certified Firewall Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have in-depth expertise in designing, implementing, and maintaining firewall solutions to protect our organization's critical assets from cyber threats. As a Firewall Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the security and integrity of our network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Firewall Implementation and Configuration: Design, deploy, and configure firewall solutions to safeguard client network infrastructure and data assets.
• Incident Response: Develop and implement incident response plans and participate in incident investigation and resolution.
• Firewall Policy Management: Create, review, and maintain firewall policies to ensure they align with industry best practices and organizational security requirements.
• Monitoring and Alerting: Set up and manage monitoring tools to detect and respond to security threats and breaches in real time.
• Network Optimization: Continuously optimize firewall rules and policies for improved performance and security.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, security procedures, and incident reports.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards related to network security.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide security guidance and support for various IT projects.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following qualifications:

• PCNSE (Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer) certification and/or NSE7 (Fortinet Network Security Expert 7) certification
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred)
• Proven experience as a Firewall Engineer or similar role
• In-depth knowledge of firewall technologies from Palo Alto Networks and Fortinet
• Strong understanding of network protocols, security principles, and best practices
• Proficiency in firewall rule management, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and VPN technologies
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
